falling in love again & again

I need to love you again, once more... until I heal this deep wound, etched in my heart, bleeding drop by drop, since I tasted your absence. The night still haunts me— the night we fought, the night I hurt you, the night I saw that crystalline shimmer in your eyes. But we can’t just abandon it, can we? I don’t know. Did we simply forget? Forget why we chose each other? We can’t seem to remember that love. But we have to... we keep losing sight of it. Yet we must learn to love again.
