Falling

I was falling It was peaceful and quiet I was falling I've always wanted to try it But it was a long fall I only landed the next day I was writing my thoughts And the feeling wouldn't go away Until it did And suddenly I wasn't falling anymore The ground had never felt so real I had never fallen this hard before The world around me blurred As I felt my heart slow Little did I know This feeling would only ever grow Warmth spread through me Mind at peace and heart completely full I won't repeat my past mistakes And turn every fear into a rule Actually, I'm not scared or even afraid I chose to trust life completely Because for the first time ever I'm confident I won't get hurt easily.
