Fallen Leaves Of Love
In my darkest nights, I tried to paint the stars for you, You were my sunrise, now I'm lost in shadows too. Like a leaf that's fallen, I'm torn from your tree, Shredded and broken, lost in a sea. My heart's a stormy ocean, waves crash and roar, Your silence is thunder, my soul's torn apart once more. I wear a mask of calm, but inside I'm undone, A wilted flower, petals fallen, love has won. The trees we sat under, now witness my tears, A lonely bird sings, echoing my deepest fears. My smile's a fragile leaf, clinging to a thread, While my heart weeps quietly, for the love we've lost instead.
