Fall of a Kingdom
Make your move, the clock is ticking Chess is a game of carefully articulated moves You were my king, and I was queen In silence we waltzed across the board Chasing space to space Taking down the enemy with elegance, class and grace And in true queen like fashion I always protected my King And should any threat arise I'd come from anywhere Far or near To keep you in good graces And then once more side by side we swept their pieces from our claimed spaces And one by one we stacked them up and took their kingdom down And you and I would sit on golden thrones adding more jewels to our crowns Oh, the days, when were royals And the world lie at our feet Only to find that my beloved king Would lead me to defeat with his own deceit Now I know that anyone can be a wolf in the skins of sheep And that you most stay woke Lest your kingdom fall, death by a cheat.
