Fall Colors
In autumn, we see falling leaves And poets often write of these. Amazing colors we behold. From dull, dark browns to brilliant gold. There are so many shades, you see, You can count them endlessly. Nature's splendor on display. At end of summer; an awesome array! Among those rustling leaves each fall, Will be the brightest hues of all. In most every garden there will be Bursts of flowers for us to see. Blinding blooms with hues that stay Throughout the fall; a sweet cache. There's the warm-faced marigold That old standby, so bright and bold. Purple flowers will be there To add color and perfume to the air. Roses will return from spring intact; Summer slowed them, but they are back! And the daisies! A favorite of the bees, Will still thrive for months, if you please. Fall is probably my favorite season. I can provide you millions of reasons. You will find them all over the ground, Where there are deciduous trees around. And nestling among those leaves so bright. Are beautiful flowers, bursting with light!
