You say trying new things makes you happy, But even I know that's a lie, You hate change, and take it from me, Last time that happened, many tears you did cry. But hey, I'll butt out, Because I know your true nature now. Not to say it still doesn't hurt, Because it does, You tossed me outside onto the ground into the dirt, Just like you would a dustpan full of dust. Guess all I ever actually meant to you, Was just someone who you'd use to benefit from, Then I guess it's true, I absolutely am so very niave and dumb. And don't think that I've forgotten some of the others things one of you has done, Because I haven't and never will, Because that's a burn that never heals, Sometimes, instead of reminiscing on old times, I'd rather bring to my head a gun, Like the loved one I lost that way, When you were being rude, And after other things, were what I wished you persued, But instead, you fed on my emotional dismay. While I sometimes secretly hope you'd experience that same pain that traumatized me so, I pray for you, I pray for the others too...
