Faith in fragility
Pilgrim pecans pacing Down parched throat Bitten tongue Spewing oxblood I drink myself Dose by dose I taste the timing of the flood Metallic mouth Coated in silver linings I am dining on Chrome cutlery I am aching...simply bracing myself for life's misery Profanity is my sanity When I have no words Insanity breeds with clarity Soon my womb gives birth To poetry and verse Am I truly heard? When my brain bursts onto the pages Or is this gift a curse Where I'm meant to disperse Diverse ways we hurt in our cages No let's face this, I don't hate this I want to be in my good graces I follow the traces of familiar faces Outrageous... I'm wading in gated gazes I create safe spaces Peaceful places Where we can all feel free Measures have been taken Our freedom is fated I hold space for the faith within fragility
