Fair
I raised her up As my wife remained there To think she wasn't mine I didn't dare 11 years later I ask God Is life fair According to the demands of authority I handled responsibilities not mine to bare As I now lay here injured and insulted I ask God Is life fair I was born blind And for all my life I have been abused by what I can see 28 years of age as though unaware I ask God Is life fair Do the good recieve they blessings they deserve Do we stand pleased When what is evil reaps the harvest they earned When approached with this question As one is dealt punches with hands tied down And others sit in privilege With stomachs wide and round Can we declare Yes all is fair
