fagile trust
In the tender night we whispered dreams, Soft promises, like moonlit beams. We wove our hopes with silken threads, In a tapestry of words unsaid. Our hearts, they danced, in synchronized beat, Each moment felt so bittersweet. We built our castle in the sky, Believing love could never die. But shadows crept into our light, And stars fell from our skies so bright. The vows we made began to fade, In echoes of the plans we laid. False hope, it wore a lover's mask, Hiding truth in every task. We chased the sun, we chased the rain, We chased a love that brought us pain. Now standing in the ruins cold, I see the lies we both were told. A future promised, now a ghost, A lover’s dream, an empty boast. Our fairy tale has met its end, No longer do our hearts pretend. The love we thought was meant to be, Is now a haunting memory. So here I stand, alone, apart, With remnants of a broken heart. The dreams we had, now turned to dust, False hope betrayed our fragile trust
