Fading Light
Butterflies, dragonflies, fireflies too Their magic dims, now lost from view. With them fades our innocent gaze, As wonder slips into the haze. Are cultures crumbling? Is nature dying? Are souls within us slowly rotting? The magic of life is numbered We march to a rhythm dull and encumbered. Monotony wraps the world in grey, And beauty, once bright, fades away.
