Fading Hopes
I don’t deserve to be loved, I say, As every hand I reach for slips away. I open my heart, but it falls to the floor, Left with silence, craving more. Maybe I’m too much, or not enough, In a world where love feels hard and rough. I stand on the edge, waiting for a sign, But it never comes, and the fault feels mine. Yet deep inside, a flicker remains, That maybe love could heal these pains. For now, I stand in shadow’s place, Hoping one day, I’ll feel its embrace.
