Fading Fire
- Gazi Wrapped in a world that hums and whirs, We’ve lost the warmth that once was ours. Love, once a dance of breath and skin, Now moves like gears that turn within. Your hand in mine — a perfect place, But something’s gone without a trace. No sparks that used to light the night, No silent thrills, no hearts in flight. We lie so close, yet feel so far, Like wishing on a fallen star. Your touch, once fire — now calm, subdued, Like moonlight soft, yet strangely crude. And when it rains, I don’t feel new — No poetry at the sight of you. The raindrops fall, but not on flame, For love, it seems, has changed its name.
