Fading Echoes
When the world feels heavy, and the sky is dark, When every spark of joy has lost its mark, And all that once was bright now fades away, When hope feels distant, and dreams decay. You stand alone, with shattered glass at your feet, A heart once full, now incomplete. The laughter is gone, the warmth has ceased, And every whispered promise has been deceased. Yet still, you keep moving, step by step, As if there's something worth the struggle, the sweat. You pretend you're okay, though you're not, Hiding the ache, the battle you've fought. But deep inside, the silence screams, That maybe this life was never meant to be. And so, you fade, unnoticed, unshown, Not with a bang, but quietly alone.
