Fading Away
Dried petals fall, like tears from above, A withered reminder of a life removed. The soil's dry whisper, a haunting refrain, Echoes of memories, forever in vain 🌸. The stem's bare bones, a skeleton's frame, A stark reminder of what's been taken away. I searched for signs, of life's gentle flame, But it's gone, leaving only ash and shame. In its silence, I hear a lonely sigh, A whispered goodbye, a final, fading light. The space it left, a hollow, aching space, A heart that's broken, a grief that won't erase.
