Faded
Monday The flowers died on Monday. They simply faded away, on a grey Monday morning. No wargings, no dramatic ending, just faded away. They used to be bright, colorful, full of life. I swear that last Monday, they still were. I don’t know why they turned grey. Was it their choice? Was the sun not as present anymore? Did they stop fighting? Did their petals stop collecting the morning rain? Was life too hard? Were the bees not worth their sadness anymore? The flowers died on Monday. On a regular grey Monday. If they let themself faded, how could I possibly not let parts of myself slip away?
