External Masquerade Pt. 1
In the corners of our hearts, we dwell, where everyday's a haunting spell, a world where smiles wear masks so keen, it's life, my friend, but feels like Halloween. Each sunrise paints a sky so gray, as joy and hope just fade away, in this eerie masquerade we're in, where every day's a sorrowful scene, and the laughter hides behind a frown, as we wander through this ghostly town. Behind the costumes, we all wear, is a sadness, a burden, too much to bear. So let us weep for what's been lost, for the happiness at such a cost, in a world where dreams have all but been, everyday, it feels like Halloween.
