Existence
In the vast expanse where darkness twirls, We linger on, like stars, in endless swirls. Amid time's vast and wandering roam, Memories glisten, parts of a precious tome. But what if eternity were our tranquil home, Would they still gleam or fade to foam? Or be lost to oblivion's silent dome? Within life's grasp, the past a treasure, Each moment a gem, of cherished pleasure. But what if the end were a distant leisure, Would we value each with fullest measure? Or squander them in reckless seizure? Let's clasp these memories, hold them dear, Like rarest blooms in a garden drear. For facing mortality's shadow severe, They shine brightest, quelling fear, Guiding us as the end draws near. In life's grand scheme, every moment a pearl, A vibrant petal in time's transient hurl.
