Exhoes Of Unspoken Love
Once more, we find ourselves in discontent, Lost in sorrow's self-deception. Exchanging glances from opposite shores, Feigning ignorance, avoiding that place of no return. Stuck in death's loop— We distance ourselves with life, Linger in the restless void, Yearning to be whole, Yet denying the absence we feel, Consciously burdened by what's unspoken. Still, the distance fades. A simple hello, The scarlet tanager's melody, A fleeting smile, The warmth of a summer sunset, A longing look, Each moment captures me in eternity. They ignite this gnawing urge to leap— A confession of truth and desire Suppressed by the fear of falling further into the abyss. As I gaze upon your face, the fear sets in: If my eyes reveal the love I've concealed, Will yours dare to do the same? Or will you remain in purgatory, Stuck in silence, afraid to break free? Euphoric love, eternal contentment— Trampled by denial and pride. Why do we pretend to be unaware? Why do we torment each other so? But the cycle must end. I'll rewrite this story, Fade into the horizon, And let the silence carry me away.
