exhaustion
exhaustion In the endless cycle of day to night, My soul grows weary, losing its fight. Home stress weighs heavy, burdensome and real, School and work demands, an unending ordeal. Words of others fall like heavy rain, But they can't see the depth of my pain. Teetering on the edge of my mind's abyss, Longing for release, to find mental bliss. Each minute drags with a heavy sigh, As I struggle, trying not to cry. The cycle repeats, a relentless grind, Leaving me shattered, lost and confined. But still, I push forward, trying to cope, Holding on to fragments of hope. For in the darkness, there may come light, Easing the burden, making things right.
