I look at the sky and let out a sigh, Time runs so fast, it quickly goes by. It feels like yesterday we were in class twelve, With half made dreams and stories to tell. Now the years have passed, we’ve moved away, Close friends of mine don’t feel the same today. Everyone is busy, finding their own place, Step by step, in life’s long race. Inside I know, the truth is clear, Nothing will last forever here. The laughs, the bonds, the love we share, Fade away slowly, just like air. No one stays with me for all time, Our paths will change, not always align. Faces once known now feel so strange, Life is a journey, all things change. So I watch the sky, open and wide, It shows the changes I hold inside. That’s what life is never the same, Teaching us softly, nothing will remain.
