Everyone
Everyone around me always looks so happy. They are always making jokes and cackling their hyena cackles. They are always so eager to talk. Everybody around me wants more and more at all costs. They drink all night and day while I slug through snow-sleeted drudgery. They drink until they spill every secret yet I still don't know them. Everybody around me finds me odd. They point and they gawk at me for sticking out. They point and they prod at my insecurities until my stomache bleeds out, until my arms fall off, until my heart implodes in its lavender aroma, until my eyebrows pluck themselves off, until my flesh suffocates, until my hair becomes dried spaghetti, until my nails corrode with pestilence, until I gaze at myself in the mirror and all I can say is: "there's nothing left." // Nothing left but the hollow tears that fill my glass's abyss
