Everyday is a day of trial
Each dawn breaks forth with promise and test, A new day unfurls, a challenge to quest. I rise with hope's resilient flame, Stretching forth, I assess the trials to claim. Like a warrior, I prepare for the fray, Arming myself with courage come what may. The weight of pain descends like a hammer's blow, Yet still I strive, my spirit unbroken, though. In defeat, tears fall like autumn's rain, But in triumph, I celebrate, my heart regained. Each morning, I emerge, wrung out like a wet towel worn, No pain, no gain, the mantra that drives me on. I hold my head high, above life's turbulent tide, Pulling up my socks, and donning courage as my stride. Just hanging on, with every fiber of my being, For to hang on is to hope, and to hope is to win. In this relentless pursuit, I find my strength, A resolve forged in the fire of life's length. So I'll face each day, with heart unbowed, And though the journey's long, I'll persevere, proud. For in the darkness, a light still shines, Guiding me forward, through life's twisted vines. And when the weight of the world threatens to consume, I'll draw on the depths of my soul, and find the strength to resume. Every day's a trial, a test of will and might, But I'll rise.
