Every Sunrise Holds a Promise
Them: hey? hi! how are you? what are you doing?? Me: the sun will rise today, i'm waiting.. The sun has promised me that when it will arrive, it'll bring me freckles on my face- and grins like grace. "Oh?" Every sunrise holds a promise.. that the rain might kiss my lips, the gust might caress my hair the snow might relax my mind- dad would take me to the beach oh! so kind. my mama would make me pastries, and the sweets are on the way- the spring might knock my door and ask me out for a date. A date with a season everyday like Bossom buddies the magnolia tree the dandelion field the serene-silent river, and the squirrels that quiver! Hey? can't we just stay here for a while? you listen, i talk you talk i listen i make coffee for you and you act like you don't like it so i make tea which never reaches our tongues but gets wasted as we talk and laugh like anything all day. that's what every sunrise promises me. ~Amiy
