Every night
Every night before bed, I tell Little Johnny to turn the loud music down and turn the lights off and go to bed. Every night before bed, Emily drinks a glass of ice water. Then she reads a book with a delightful smile before she got too sleepy. She combs her hair and brushes her teeth. Then turn the lights out and go to bed. Next night, at bedtime. Little Johnny had his music blasting again with floodlight shining. Once again, I told Little Johnny to turn the music down. Once again, I told him to turn the lights off and go to bed. Emily started reading about flights to other countries she would like to visit before she gets too sleepy. She wanted to get to a stopping point so she could brush her hair and brush her teeth. One Friday night, I had my friends over to play cards. Just like any other night, Little Johnny had his music and blasting. I said, turn the music down and turn the light off, and go to bed. Someone said to me I thought Emily was over a friend's house. I replied she was, as I heard someone asking who was upstairs playing the music loud and had the light turned on.
