Everlasting Dreams
What happens to a mind unseen? A realm lost within a dream? A locked cage, where one can't redeem? A burden so heavy it leaves a stream? A flow of tears from blinded eyes where happiness once was. A dormant cry for one more try left barren upon a desolate night. What happens when one loses themself? Trapped behind a door, hoping to just see. To see where they went wrong. To see how they harmed. All to purify a now darkened heart. But there is no light here. The gate has been shut, and one's fate has been sealed. A bind has cast, and the locks reveal That a once proud soul wouldn't finally be their one crying wish for love and peace. So now, it's gone, and the guilt runs deep. May this torture be my everlasting dream.
