Even When It's Bad
The rain has a soul. When my eyes are closed, He welcomes himself. He dares not touch me when I'm watching. He loves me. And I love him. I welcome him into my heart. He's the closest thing I have to true love. He holds me and I stay close to him. When he touches me, I feel at peace. Some days he's a roaring lion. While others curse him, I open my arms to him. Just because he's having a bad day, Some want to get rid of him. But I love him, Whether upset or joyful. Other days he's a bleating lamb. He just wants to be seen and loved. I gladly give him the love he deserves. Others only like him on these days. But I love him always. He just wants to be adored. And I have only adoration for him. He hides my tears when I cry with him. He coddles me when I'm not well. He brings me peace when I'm with him. He knows what I need. Sometimes I can hear his whisper, "It's going to be okay, my love."
