Evading the fade
You are still there. Between the breeze, between the air. I still remember your face. It’s something worth the chase. But it’s slowly starting to move out of place. It’s late December, And you’re no longer a member of this life. We used to have our own hangout space. But I don’t go there anymore. Not like I did before. I miss you, but I must open another door. I must explore the rest of the world. While you stay still, in the underworld. Although the memories of you are fading. It’s a truth that I have always been evading. But between the night, between the skies. The memory of you never dies.
