Eternal Slumber's Grace
In the cold embrace of night’s deep veil, Where shadows linger, soft and pale, A graveyard lies, so still, so vast, A whisper of the ancient past. The moonlight dances on each stone, A silvery touch on cold, white bone, And frost-kissed leaves in quiet grace Adorn this sacred, hallowed place. Tall, twisted trees with limbs outspread, Stand sentinel above the dead, Their branches weave a silent song, Of lives once lived, now lost, now gone. Yet in this dark, a beauty grows, In every silent breeze that blows, For here the earth holds stories dear, Of love and loss, of hope and fear. The marble gleams, the ivy twines, Around the worn and weathered signs, And in the stillness, peace is found, In the cold, dark graveyard ground. So breathe the night, and feel the air, A place where time has ceased to care, For in this dark, eternal sleep, A beauty stirs, both vast and deep.
