ETERNAL SLEEP
In the shadows of the night we weep, A quiet whisper, a silence deep, The end of life, the eternal sleep. The Grim Reaper comes for us all, Heeding no one's plea, no one's call, In his icy grip, we must fall. The breath of life, a fleeting breath, Like a flower wilts in the frosty heath, Our souls depart, leaving behind death. But fear not the darkness, fear not the night, For in the end, we shall see the light, And in eternity, we shall take flight. MTF
