ETERNAL NIGHTFALL
In shadows deep, where whispers lie, Solitude's embrace, a silent cry. Terminal frailties, cruel and cold, Breast cancer's grip, a tale untold. Lost souls wander, in the night, Seeking solace, out of sight. In the darkness, they find release, Their pain now gone, their souls at peace. Gone too soon, their light now fades, In the quiet, their memory pervades. A haunting echo, of lives cut short, By a disease, a deadly sport. May their spirits soar, in realms unknown, Where they find solace, all alone. In the mystery of the night, Their presence lingers, shining bright. So let us remember, those we've lost, Their battles fought, at such a cost. In solitude, we mourn and weep, For those who now forever sleep.
