Et tu, Brutus, my trusting friend? Betrayal's sting, my heart does rend. In friendship's guise, in shadows sly, You plunged the dagger, left me to die. With a bitter heart, sharp words did fall, And true loyalty's cloak, you did recall. Et tu, Brutus, the last ounce of trust, Forever shattered, crumbling to dust? Et tu, Brutus, my faithful friend? In shadows deep, a plot's silent blend; A dagger's kiss, a heartache's sting; Betrayal's melody, discordant ring. Treachery's venom was disguised by a smile, My soul now shattered, deceived by your guile. But the echoes of our bond still cry, Et tu, Brutus, our friendship's goodbye? Et tu, dear Brutus, my noblest friend? In darkness, your loyalty meets its end. Through the sands of time, we both will stray, Torn webs of trust, left to decay. Betrayal's blade, it cuts so deep.
