Éphémère
I saw beauty and I froze. I lifted my camera, but the picture caught nothing of what my eyes held. So I tried again, then again, stacking images like bricks until I’d built a mansion made of moments that still felt empty. Not even a fraction of the truth before me. So I put the camera down and sat with the silence, letting the scene breathe without me trapping it. When it finally faded, I mourned it quietly the kind of perfect moment the world will never see, and I will never forget.
