enigma
I'm an enigma Even to myself I must admit Most days I can smell the freshness of the air I can admire the brightness of the greens And listen to bustling in the city But on other days I'm filled with self pity That I only enjoy these pleasantries alone And sometimes it makes me feel uneasy Then all my thoughts start to unfold and I feel like a prisoner in my own body Anger, pain, resentment And most of all suffocation And just like that I start giving in to temptation But then one day...I redeem my mental state One day, I'm completely okay then Even to myself I must admit I'm an enigma
