English Literature
Someone asked me; Why you love English Literature so much? Some gibberish love stories Some unrealistic poetries What else is there??!! And i said, My Friend sit here and let me take you In the world of English Literature Which is so paradoxically Enchanting Sometimes the vast ocean of English Literature makes me exhausted But the poetries of Romantic Age gives me warmth Jane Austen takes me in the Ball Parties with her And when my heart aches Because of Pato's attack on poetry Philip Sydney comes to my rescue Shakespeare holds my hand and says, Be a little dramatic Robert Browning Whispers in my ear, Let me tell you about our last ride together Kafka looks deep into my soul and says, Please understand me once Cause nobody ever did, Marlow made me realise What tragedy looks like I accept that Sometimes its hard to remember all the things But Rosalind and Orlando Grabs my hand and says Don't worry too much Let us take you to our world And so my friend With my wings of imagination I flew away in the world of English Literature. - Rajvi Lashkari
