Endless Autumn
The leaves fall endlessly in autumn's embrace, A never-ending cycle of decay and renewal. The chill in the air lingers, refusing to fade, As nature's beauty is swallowed by time's cruel hand. Each day feels like an eternity, A never-ending loop of grey skies and fading light. The trees stand bare and bereft of life's green hues, Their branches reaching out in silent desperation. The earth below seems to sigh in resignation, Knowing that the end is near, yet always out of reach. The wind whispers a mournful tune through the barren branches, A haunting melody of loss and longing. And as the days stretch on endlessly, We are reminded of our own mortality, And the fleeting nature of all things beautiful.
