EMPTY CHAIR
Where you once were is an empty chair, Only the memory of you remains. The song of your laughter, the image Of your smile are sweet but filled with pains. The echo of your voice replays in my mind, Fading, fading away. They say you are in a better place, That place is where I want to be someday. Sometimes I hear you, speaking my name, Soft and gentle, pleasant and fair, But then I turn and it's just an empty chair.
