emptiness

you might think my heart is cold, But it’s just a mask I’ve put on. Inside, there’s only a faint glow, A sense of emptiness that’s always there. I’ve felt this emptiness for a long time, Like a constant echo in my mind. Looking back, I see people who were once close, But as time went by, they moved on. We all changed and grew older, Leaving behind what we once had. Now, I’m left with this empty space, A feeling that’s hard to shake.
