Emotional Armour
I know your fear, Your heart in your care. Want to secure it with your life, Not again will it be tempered with, not in your sight. Feelings overused, One of which I could fathom in your face. Objections overruled, Shows the way you have been treated in the race. Many affections he caged, Many conditions he gave. I hope you break out of this phase, I pray you run out of this space. I'm just another guy to you, Who for this treasure, he came to fight. Succeeded in winning, destroyed the trophy, But lo and behold, it turns out to be different. I know your heart has been broken, Not alone can I try to remold the pieces. I know some treasures have been stolen, Not alone can I try to restore the glory. "Let us make man," God said, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, He meant. "O Lord God, you know," Ezekiel answered, Looking at the fate the dry bones suffered. Affections for me, heart far away, Body drawing me close, soul sending me away. With all this, I still want to stay, Place my hope high, I think I'm not going astray.
