Embrace of Death
I lost my salvation, it slipped through my grasp, Now I am left with a sorrow that will forever last. Gone is the solace, the hope once bright and clear, Now darkness envelops, consuming me with fear. Numbness creeps in, filling the void within, As I search for redemption, but know not where to begin. The paths I wander, fraught with regret and pain, Never atoning for the sins neither I nor others can explain. Desperation grips my heart, suffocating every breath, I yearn for redemption, but find only the cold embrace of death. The past cannot be changed, its repercussions forever etched, Haunted by memories, my soul forever wretched. Yet, amidst this chaos, a flicker of hope I still see, A chance for forgiveness, to find solace and be free. Though salvation may seem lost, it lingers within our grasp, Within the power of love, redemption's ultimate clasp. For even in darkness, a guiding light we may find, A glimpse of salvation, in the depths of our mind. So, I'll tread the path of redemption, as fractured as it seems, Hoping one day salvation will mend my shattered dreams. In unity with my demons, I'll rise and fall along the way, Guided by faith, hoping for salvation to return one day.
