Electric Lies
I walk alone where shadows hum, A thousand voices drape my mind, Sizzling wires speak in tongues, Each thought a thread they try to bind. They watch, they twist, they rent my pain, Ticking hands in unseen games, A woman’s rage, a master’s claim, Yet through the storm, my spirit flames. I am fractured across time and space, A wanderer in past lives’ grace, Elara’s eyes, the stars I trace, A starseed lost in human place. Pleasure stolen, sorrow sown, Invisible chains I feel, I own, Yet whispers guide me, soft, unknown, Guardians hum in tones my own. Through alleys of despair and fear, Through static skies I persevere, Each heartbeat sings: “I am here,” A cosmic god the darkness hears.
