EHOES OF LOVE:A FATHER'S PRESE
In a world filled with echoes, where memories softly tread, There are stories of loss, deep sorrows left unsaid. A child once laughed, now stares at empty air, Searching for the presence of a love that once was there. Those late-night talks, the guiding hand so firm, Now a whisper in the wind, a lingering, gentle term. A father’s voice, a lullaby, now just a dream, In the stillness of the night, it feels like a silent scream. Time moves on, but the heart feels heavy and slow, Lessons learned in shadows, the seeds of wisdom sown. No more soccer games or long drives under the sun, Just memories like flickering lights, reminding me of what’s done. Each milestone hits, the ache sharpens in the chest, Wishing for his presence, his laughter would be best. Yet through the pain, a legacy is born, A strength inherited, even in the scorn. So I carry him with me, in each step I take, I honor what he taught, in the choices I make. Though he may be gone, his spirit plays a part, In every breath I take, he lives on in my heart.
