Eggshells
The tension so thick, you could cut it with a knife. When did this become our life? The words I can't bare to say. The words you can, that blow me away. The pain you say should be long gone. Yet here they are sharp and strong. Scattered all along the floor. Are the eggshells I must walk upon. I just can't bleed anymore.
