ECHOS OF EMPTINESS

In hollow walls, she wanders alone A soul adrift, without a home No place to rest, no heart to call A life unfulfilled, beyond recall She searches for a glimmer of light A respite from the endless Night But shadows deepens, and darkness grows And her heart echoes with sorrows woes She tries to find solace, a place to hide From the pain that pierces, and the tears she can't deny But the world outside is cold and grey In this desolate landscape, she's lost her way With no escape from the emptiness of each day She yearns for peace, for a gentle embrace But finds only echos of hollow space
