Hike in price of commodities, In every society and all communities, Poor masses wailing, Those in power shifting the blame, Citing worldwide economic hardship with a shrug, But we're far from solving our problems, stuck in a lug. But the problem is that we are long shot away from solving our problems; The leaders politicking with a hammer in their hands, Rather than hit the nail on the head, Take so much delight in beating about the bush, The law makers downplay the enormity of the issues involved Instead choose to politick and leave the problems unsolved. We know our problems,we know the cause, We are fully equipped and have the solutions,but sincerity is the pause If only we could be sincere, If only we could be sincere and honest, If only we could be sincere,honest and true Make good choices and see them through. Our decisions determine our fate, The basis of our tomorrow, don't be late. Our choices,good or bad Regardless of its kind, can shape our economy's destiny.
