Echoes Of Another's Sins
In shadows deep and secrets hidden from the light, I walked a path, my soul's true purpose taking flight. But now I stand with trembling heart, a heavy load to bear, The weight of others' sins upon my hands, a cross to wear. A metaphorical burden, like stains unseen, it clings, The blood of others on my hands, a heavy set of strings. Their deeds, their faults, not mine to hold, but here they stand, Yet on my palms, they linger still, like grains of sand. I strive with all my strength to wash away the stain, To cleanse my hands of others' pain, release them from this chain. But in a world where darkness reigns and shadows play their part, The echoes of their sins persist, like whispers in the heart. In unity, we all are bound, connected, hand in hand, Their blood, their sins, in me are found, a tie that won't disband. I'll strive for peace, to understand the weight that I must bear, The burden of another's hand, a cross we all must share. Though metaphorical this plight, it's a lesson to be wise, Teaching us to seek the light, to reach for clearer skies. To break the chains of guilt and woe, and let forgiveness flow, In this journey we embark, may empathy and grace bestow.
