Echoes of a war
A flag was raised, and words were spun, Two nations torn, their fates undone. Young men marched where hope had died, In fields of blood, where mothers cried. The elders fell, the newborns lost, The price of war, but at what cost? Civilians slain for power's gain, In the end, there's nothing to explain. But justice sleeps not in the sky, For God will see their wicked lie. Cold blood and greed will meet their due, In flames of truth, their reign is through.
