Echoes Of A Harsh Past
The Clock Struck 12 at Midnight The warrior of overthinking, donned within me as a noble knight. I started blaming myself, for my errors of past Which shaped the future’s role I was meant to cast. That cruel whispering of my past never die The thorny trees of my mistakes are where my sorrows lie. My harsh memmories were piercing my heart Like shadows that refuse to get apart. But I have'nt accepted my defeat yet I'll fight till my last breath to avoid a coward's regret. I will cut all the thorny trees of my past mistakes Because a new future is yet to be made & not to break.
