Echoes
I can feel you from the next room, it's like you're not here at all. As if our love were on the flume, A fleeting ripple from the fall... It's masochistic, in a way, that i choose to feel this pain, I can't help myself at all. I'll spend forever and a day, wishing things were still the same, here, waiting on your call. We've spent out most our days trying to give our love away, just to say we're not alone. But i would give it all away just for one more day, here with you at home. Can you feel me from the next room?, My heart just beating down the wall. Or is it safer just to assume, that I'm not there at all? I know that you have company, but I can't say a word So I just soak in the insanity, cursing everything I've heard. Just dying to be anything, other than alone. Yet I live to see another day, where loneliness patrols If I were thinking with just half my brain, I'd probably call off the whole show But im too strung out on believing that with you, I am home. With you, I am home, like we don't need a house at all, like we've never been alone, cursing echoes in the hall.. With you, I am home, Amongst the tangle webs we weave. Far too many nights alone, Just missing you and me With you I am home.
