Easy to Forget

I'm easy to forget I'm kind but never always and forever kind I'm loud but never loud enough to make people listen to what I say I'm pretty but not enough to make you notice your eyes glaze over looking at my friend who makes me easy to forget I'm easy to forget I'm smart but never the smartest in the room I'm quiet sometimes im so quiet you forget I'm here sitting right next to you waiting for my moment I'm easy to forget because I'm not extraordinary I'm not the kindest, the loudest, prettiest, smartest, or even the quietest I'm easy to forget because when you go home you forget my eyes the ones you used to look into and admire, you forget how kind, loud, pretty, smart, and quiet I am you leave me to fade into the background maybe I'm not easy to forget maybe you just don't remember
