Earned Progress

My goal in sight Knowledge that I have the might To surpass this troublesome feat My strong resolve soon takes of sprinting My pride well earned planting a strong foundation A leap of faith I take trusting my skill I surpass my goal by a foot or two Knowing next time that will be where I start My goal a benchmark for my future I won't have to struggle the same for it anymore Ill struggle for something greater My reward has come, as the next challenge approaches.
